Lokantas' - small unlicensed local eating establishments, offer a selection of casserole type dishes displayed over warmers and are a little more elaborate, yet simply furnished. They're ideal for something quick and inexpensive. Alternatively, you can leisurely spend a little more time over something special. Wine and dine in the evenings at a local restaurant where, with waiter assistance, you can simply select from the menu or the large cool display cabinets. It's a banquet! Tasty hot and cold starters (meze), fresh bread and salads, then indulge in delicious flavoured recipes with lamb, beef or chicken. Fish can be fabulous and whilst a little more expensive will be weighed and priced before cooking.
